I have to say that even though we don't have any major events that we have been up to, we have still been busy. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of being busy during the summer with Jacob and the kids. Jacob has tomorrow and Wednesday off. We don't know what we are going to do yet though. It is hard right now to plan too far in advance because they are only making his schedule a week in advance. So we are just kind of planning as we go. Which that is fine. I used to be the kind of person that had everything planned out for weeks in advance, but Jacob is more of the spontanious kind of person and it is rubbing off on me. I like it though. :)
Today we have to do a few things we couldn't get done yesterday. Then we will probably hang out at home this afternoon where it is cool.
I want to finish up some more scrapbooking too. I got 3 layouts done just last night. I think I was on a role. I will photograph them here in a bit and try to post them later.

Promotion pictures and Garage Sale finds
Just wanted to share these promotion pictures of the kids since I had not posted them yet. Gosh they are some good looking fellas. The girls are already calling off the walls to our house. I also cannot believe they are going to be in junior high next year. Oh My.
Ryan
Marcus
These are my garage sale finds. The store had a garage sale yesterday and today. Well I saw all the stuff coming in and was so excited because I spotted a few things that I wanted. So I went first thing yesterday morning and I got them. I found this Everyday Tango Paper Pack for 8.00. (What a deal because it sold for 19.99). I usually don't like paper packs, but I knew I could go through it and pick out what I wanted and give the rest to my sil Jamie. There was alot of pink in it (more than I thought) so it worked out good. Especially since she is having another GIRL. I am so excited. I can't wait to start buying baby girl stuff.
These are all my garage sale finds. I got 3 sets of alphabet foam stamps. All 3 sets for $3. The paper pack for $8. All the ocean paper and sticker sheet and a boy and girl baby sticker sheet for .50 cents. I got the long acrylic stamp, the bind it all covers, the 2 chipboard swirls and a small tote {which I gave to Lisa} for $1. I really only wanted the stamp because of a pretty swirl on it and figured it was totally worth the $1 and got all the extras that came in the bag too. I got 5 sheets of paper from Gabrielle ( I am drawing a blank on the company name for the paper) for $2. It is oranges and greens. I love it. I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw it. I got the rest of the huge paper stacks for $2. Each bag was $1 and there was probably 100 sheets in each bag. I had just flipped through some of the paper in each bag and there was about 100 sheets in each bag. So I figured since there was a few sheets in each bag that I wanted it was so worth it there too and I could give the rest to my sil again. So I kept about 30 sheets from each bag and put the rest in a bag for Jamie. While I was at the store I picked up the mini alphabets and a number set. The stamps were only 1.29. So I got all this stuff for only $20.00. What a deal.
After that we had to go to my cousins sons 5th birthday party. It was good. Ryan broke the bat on the pinata. lol. We came home and I went through all of my scrapbooking stuff that I had just bought. Then it made me want to go through all my other stuff and that it just what I did. I went throught it all from paper to stickles and ink. So my sil is getting alot of stuff. I cleaned up my work area and reorganized some stuff and I am so liking the area now. It was just getting too cluttered with junk. Ok not junk but just stuff that I wasn't using.
Then after that we went to my bil house for a bit and then we got some Taco Bell on the way home and came home and put the kids to bed.
We have a few things to do today and then I want to get some scrapbooking in. I went through tons of pictures the other night and put them with the papers that I wanted to use for that layout. It felt like a ton of pressure was lifted from my shoulders because the hard part was done, and now when I am ready I will tackle the pile of not just photos but photos and paper. I can't wait to get through that pile . I do have a petting zoo layout I just finished so I will post that later.
Off to find something to eat now. Maybe I will make the kids some pancakes.

DVDs
When we continued our Blockbuster movie pass this month I asked them for a print out of all the movies that we had rented that month so that we didn't rent them again (and in the back of my mind I was thinking I wanted to scrap all of the movies we rented in one month and wanted to make sure I listed them all). So in a 30 day period we rented 24 movies I think it was. Wow. Well we rejoined and can't wait to see what we rent this month.
Our entire list of movies:
27 Dresses
Reign Over Me
Resident Evil
Untraceable
Mr. Brooks
Rendition
Things We Lost In The Fire
P.S. I Love You
The Brave One
The Bee Movie
Awake
Freedom Writers
August Rush
Good Luck Chuck
One Missed Call
Over Her Dead Body
National Treasure
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
Daddy Day Camp
Cleaner
Gone Baby Gone
Ocean's Thirteen
The Bucket List
Knocked Up
This month so far we have rented
Witless Protection
Fool's Gold
Grace is Gone
We Own the Night
I just want to take a picture of a bunch of DVDs stacked up and do a layout about all the movies we have rented lately.

*Ryan and Marcus' 6th grade promotion
*Air conditioner was broken
*Dinner and lunches out a few times (Steer n Stein, Tokyo Sushi, On the Border, Roadhouse)
*Rented a few more movies (Fool's Gold, Witless Protection, We Own the Night, Gace is Gone)
*Groccery shopping alot
*Recycling the cans (today actually)
*Drinks out with sister in law and brother in law for bil 21st birthday
*cleaning house
*scrapbooking
*working (worked 3 straight days in a row this past weekend)
*dealing with the stupid health insurance
*Jacob had to work Fathers Day so we made him a nice breakfast and took it to him at work.
*Had a fathers day dinner at my moms
*Writing out our Christmas Shopping List
*Kids spent a few nights at Aunt Jamies house
*Planning our {annual} trip to the beach. Thinking Venice or Hunnington Beach this year.
*Talking about more summer plans
*Folding laundry
*Water Balloon Fights
*Had to buy a new TV for our room as ours finally went out
*Making "Look Who's One" cards for Caleb. To announce his birthday
*Looking up all kinds of wedding stuff. {Jacob and I are serious about planning our wedding this time... I am SOOO excited}
*Reading magaizines and books on weddings and scrapbooking
*Taking alot of pictures
*Finished painting our bathroom
I think that is just a brief summary. I am glad the kids are out for summer finally. They are enjoying it, but Marcus said yesterday that he missed his friends already. I don't know why though, his friends all call about 5 times a day. We want to go to the beach again this summer. Just need to find out where we are going to go and when Jacob has a day off. We went last year with Jamie and Jason and Hailee. We said it would be alot of fun to go each July, and each year go to a different beach. I am excited. Jacob and I said it would be fun to just pack up us and the kids and to somewhere like San Diego or something and stay a night. So I am hoping we will get a chance to do that soon as well.
I finished up Calebs Birthday announcement cards last night, so I will post a picture of that asap.
Off to make the kids some pancakes for breakfast now.

June already???
Ok how in the world did June get here already? I have been so busy the last week. We are leaving this Thursday for Sacramento for my brothers wedding. We come home on Sunday. I have been trying to get some projects for that finished up... I made the guest book, and I still have to make a matching pen, I made a little plaque that says their last name. I will photograph that today. I wanted to make them a graduation mini book, but just did not get the time to do that. I have about 3 projects for the store that I am working on. I finished one last night, and hope to get to at least one more today. We will see though.
I have so much stuff to do today and tomorrow to get ready for the trip. I have to pack me and the 4 kids still. I have gotten some snack stuff for the car ride, and want to get some stuff to make sandwiches for the ride so we don't have to really stop much for food. I got some stuff for Jacob to have to eat while we are gone. I need to finish up the last load of laundry and we are all caught up and will be done. I NEED to clean the babies room. OMG it is such a mess and I don't want to know I will have to come home to that,so a clean room will be great. It is just toys all over the floor so it should be pretty easy to clean up. I need to clean the house so it is clean when we come home and Jacob will have a clean house. Pick up the portable DVD player from Jacobs mom house. Pack the car tomorrow night, actually Jacob said he would do that for me tomorrow night. I keep thinking I am forgetting something. Tomorrow is Caleb's first birthday. I need to make a cake or cupcakes and do his first birthday photo shoot. Too much to do and not enough hours in the day. { I say that as I sit here on the computer getting nothing else done}. Adding some photos and then I am off to shower and get all my stuff around the house done. I have a quick and easy dinner planned tonight so I won't be spending tons of time in the kitchen.
Yesterday was a busy day as well. Ryan and Marcus had a track meet. It was at Silverado High. It was from 9am to 12. It was HOT. I got so sunburned. The kids did great. Their school came in 2nd overall. Ryan won first place in his first race. In his second race he got a bad start becasue they made the kids restart and it threw him off. Marcus did a relay and I think his school came in 2nd for that one. The kids did great and we are so proud of them.
Here are some pictures.
Here is Jacob in his new favorite Cars hat. He looks like such a big boy here.
Here is Mr. Caleb getting ready to play baseball in the house.
Here is Marcus finishing up his race.
