Cards for the Troops

Jennifer told me I should make a card for her to donate to her cards for troops with her Scrapbook Royalty group. So I made a santa in a military uniform with a red santa hat. I think the card is ok, but I might make a different version this week and then give them to her.

On another note I finally got a few things listed in my etsy shop this morning. I didn't have time to do it all, but at least it is a start. I have been busy working all this weekend, so I haven't really had a chance to sit down and do much scrappy stuff. Hopefully tomorrow I can. I have no plans except to clean my house.

So I really want to work on some layouts. I have almost all of them done for the weekly topics. Most have no pictures because I am out of printer ink yet again. I plan to get some on Friday though. So I can just add them as soon as I print them.

My Etsy Store

I am still working on the etsy thing, but just didn't get a chance to sit down and work on that today. I did however, get most of the pictures taken last night. So here are some things, most things I think, that I am going to be listing on etsy. I am still trying to figure out our paypal account, and I think that is all I am waiting on. So here are some pictures of what I will be putting up for sale.

I got to meet Donna Salazar

On Saturday Donna she came to the store for a class and crop. I have to say she is super sweet. She was so nice. I wish I could have had a chance to sit and talk to her more, but she was busy helping everyone out and instructing them on her beautiful things. I wanted to get a picture with her too, and didn't have a chance to do that either. Hopefully next time.

The next topic question is for WEEK 12. WHAT IS THE LAST CONVERSATION YOU HAD?

This is the way the living room is arranged now since I rearranged it. I am still totally loving it. I am going to put our Christmas tree this year right where the black chair and table are. I really want a new tree this year, but we will see. (We have a huge fake tree and I so desperately want a prelit one)

Here is a baby card I made for some friends of ours who just found out that they are pregnant.

Last week it was so cold and we immediately broke out the hot chocolate. I don't drink coffee, and the kids love hot chocolate like me. So as soon as there is a reason to make some we do. Our favorite way is with whipped cream and sprinkles. I found some of my favorite kind in individual packages which is with raspberry flavoring in it. OH YUM. That is the way I order my hot chocolate from starbucks too. (Not that I go there often though). We of course had Halloween colored sprinkles for this time of year.

Here are the kids enjoying the hot chocolate. Ok except Caleb I think he just had regular milk in his cup. But he is happy with that too. Jacob asks me to make hot chocolate every single day now. :) I can't wait until it is cold enough everyday to drink it.

I can't believe that Halloween is in less than 2 weeks away. Oh my. I have no idea what 3 of them are going to be. The older 2 are thinking about not dressing up though, so we will see. I think I might get the puppy costume I saw at Target for Caleb. That is if they still have it when we go.

Off to finish up some layouts I am working on. One of them being for the hot chocolate pictures actually. :)

WEEK 11

Been Busy as usual.

After I rearranged our bedroom I got the nitch to rearrange again. So I went for the living room this time. I have to say I love it so much. I will download the pictures today and post them. I have a few scrappy things to post too, but just haven't taken a picture of them yet.
I am thinking of finally listing something on etsy as well. I will have to take some photos of that today as well.

I have a few things on my to do list today too, but hopefully we can get them done quickly and then I can relax the rest of the day, and do some scrappy stuff.

The kids are off of school on Monday for the holiday so that will be a nice 3 day weekend.

I have been into making cards lately

I haven't been into cards really much before, but just recently I sure have been. I like the fact that it is done so quickly. I like instant results.

So here is the card I made last night. It is for my sil. She is having a baby in November and everything that I made for her and bought for her is green and pink.

One day last week I got a wild hair in me to rearrange our master bedroom. It was a huge task, but I am SO glad that I did. We moved our old tall dresser out of our bedroom and into Ryan and Marcus' room. I took out their old computer desk that only had their tv on it and moved it into our room. I then rearranged our entire room. I love the new set up (I will have to take pictures tomorrow). But since I moved the computer desk into our room, I put my scrapbook stuff on it. I moved out of the closet. I still use the closet for storage stuff, but now I have much more room to work. I LOVE my new space. Here is my desk. I already have it a mess with projects. I am getting a differnt light though. This one without a shade is too bright. I am putting that one back in the closet for light when I am looking for stuff. I am getting one that will mount to the underside top of the desk. I looked at Target today and I couldn't find what I was looking for. I know they have them at Walmart and the kids and I are going there tomorrow, so I will look then. The good thing about that also is that it will give more room on my desk with the lamp gone too. I got the cork board squares today at Target and I love how they fit perfectly into the opening of the desk.

I will take some pictures tomorrow of the bedroom arrangement. I even had enough room to add a chair in here as well.

WEEK 10

The topic question for week 10 is...

Have you ever wanted to change your name? If so, to what and why.

When I was a young girl I always wanted my first name to be Elizabeth. I have no idea why. My mom told me that they had almost named me that too. Oh well, now I really like Nicole. I do however still want to officially change my last name....to Jacobs of course. Even though I use the last name, it will be official soon.
